Description
A 60 mil composite sheet type waterproofing membrane consisting of 4 mils of cross laminated polyethylene film bonded to 56 mils of rubberized asphalt (modified bitumen) with a silicone release liner. Aquaflash 1000 forms a heavy duty barrier against physical damage and water migration.

Application Summary
All surfaces to be waterproofed must be smooth, dry, dust and frost free. New structural concrete must be cured a minimum of seven days. Lightweight structural concrete must be cured a minimum of fourteen days. Aquaflash Primer must be applied to all substrates which are to be waterproofed. For horizontal surfaces; Apply Aquaflash 1000 to the primed substrate starting at the lowest point. Successive sheets of Aquaflash 1000 should overlap preceding sheets by 2.5 inches. Remove the silicone coated release tapes for uniform lap adhesion. The membrane sheet should be firmly rolled to ensure uniform and complete contact with the substrate.

For vertical surfaces; Apply Aquaflash 1000 in manageable sections (8 ft.). On wall over 8 ft., it may be necessary to overlap adjoining sections. If applicable, the upper section should overlap the lower section by at least 2.5 inches. On successive vertical sections, remove the silicone coated release tapes for uniform lap adhesion. Use a hand roller to secure membrane too substrate. Use reglet, termination bar or counter flashing if terminated on a vertical surface.

Aquaflash 1000 is to be applied when substrate and ambient temperatures are 25 degrees Fahrenheit or above.

Warranty
Aquaflash 1000 waterproofing composite is warranted to be free from defects in manufacturing for a period of ten years. Material will be provided at no charge to replace any defective product. See sample warranty.

No maintenance required if installed per manufacturer’s instructions

Rolls are 36 inches wide by 66.6 feet long. Approx. 200 square feet per roll or box
